NET detective cleaning-up a 'Lab dump'

narcotics Enforcement Team

The Narcotics Enforcement Team, a sub-division of the Criminal Investigation Division, is responsible for identifying, apprehending and successfully prosecuting those individuals who are responsible for drug violations in the County. The unit is manned only by Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies who were chosen by the Sheriff based on stringent guidelines. These deputies receive special training to hone their investigative skills. They also receive training in the proper, safe disposal of clandestine labs.

Although NET has agreements to work together with police officers from Moscow Mills and Hawk Point, the Team serves the entire County. Read about some of the recent arrests the Team has made on our Press Release page.

Since its inception in 2001 the NET team has received numerous awards from the United States Attorney's Office, the United States Department of the Treasury and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms recognizing their exemplary service.

The NET team investigates every lead they receive from the public. If you have witnessed suspicious behavior or have information about drug use or sales please call or email Captain Mike Lang or use the Crime Tip link to the left.
