COMPLAINT FORM

A complaint is defined as - An allegation of circumstance(s) amounting to a specific act or ommission which, if proven true, would amount to employee misconduct; or an expression of dissatisfaction with a policy, procedure, practice, philosophy, service level, or legal standard of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.

A disagreement over the validity of a traffic infraction or criminal citation is not a complaint. Such disagreements should be diected to the proper court having jurisdiction in the matter.

 

All fields must be completed. The majority of complaints will be completely investigated within thirty days, however, some complaints are more complex and require additional time for investigation. If your complaint is extended past thirty days, you will be notified via verbal or written response.
